Adding New Discussion Rooms

To Add a New Discussion Room: #

Reopen the discussion room to add a new topic. This will allow students to understand the contents of the room and interact with them.

Note: Without clicking ‘Add New Topic’, the discussion room will not appear in the students’ accounts.

Note: The system allows the addition of equations, drawings, or free writing within the discussion room content.

1. Click the Create Room button on the Discussion Rooms page.

Note: Make the title related to your lesson or your course. 

2. Add a title for your discussion room. 

3. You can add instructions for your discussion room. For instance: criticize ideas, not individuals.

4. You can choose to hide all new topics that could be added by the students.

5. Click Next to view more options. 

Publishing Options: #
  1. You can select publishing for all the students enrolled in your different courses. 
  2. You can select publishing for the students based on the course. 
  3. You can select publishing for specific students from different courses. 
  4. You can select publishing for student groups.
  5. Click Previous to go back to the previous options, or click Create Room to create and save the room.
